I am not convinced he ever plays football after high school. If you look at how special you have to be to play in the NFL as a wide receiver it's not a guarantee for even elite athletes. You also have to be lucky with injuries. As a baseball player Quinn stands out as an athlete. If a pro team offers him a good contract I wouldn't be surprised if he gives the minor leagues a shot for a few years and plays football if it doesn't work out. Quinn has to be high on pro baseball teams prospect lists. Most Baseball players just aren't as athletic as Quinn is. Must be nice to have options.

Thanks for making the argument against playing football at LSU. . .

Hopefully, Trey has other plans in mind. All signs up to now seem to point toward him preferring football.

If he dominated camp like everyone said he did, the kid is playing D1 football.

Dude is an absolute stud baseball player. Will be an unbelievable two-sport athlete here.

If the kid cancelled playing summer baseball just to train and get ready for LSUs football camp, that's prolly a good indicator he prefers football. If he's as good as advertised in baseball, he would have gotten a LSU baseball scholly anyway. I think he ends up on campus even if he's a big time MLB draft pick like Chad Jones and Jared Mitchell.
