What you know about that area?

I know I'll be there next weekend with a boat, just don't know where to get on the fish. My buddy who lives there has spent a lot of time on the water but not real big on inshore, and doesn't think we'll catch anything.

Let me start by saying it is not the almighty LA fricking marsh and coast line but plenty of fish to be caught. There is a marsh between Gautier and pascagoula and the mouth of the Pascagoula river comes out at the shipyard. You can catch bass and reds and specks in the marsh and as you move out to the gulf lots of shoreline and rocks to fish. Round Island, Petit Bois Island and Horn Island or just a short ride out. I have been to Horn Island( which is the furthest) many times in just a 14 Express and others similiar. I have caught many specks and White trout from the beaches and piers and off the rocks. Get on google maps and check the area before you go so you have an idea what it looks like.
