Big Brother & The Holding Company - "Summertime" (1968)
A 10 minute film of the band in the studio cutting the Gershwin standard for Cheap Thrills, as well as shooting the shite between takes. I'm not a huge Joplin fan, but this does offer a fascinating glimpse into studio recording, '60s style. I have no clue where this film comes from, but I believe the guy in the booth with the glasses is John Simon, producer of Cheap Thrills as well as the first two Band albums.
