The problem with the subbed version is the audio just sounds awful, like some old cartoon from the 50's with mono.
Edit: The dialogue on the dubbed version of Kai is a lot better from what I've seen of it.

I hate the subs because I cannot take goku seriously when he sounds like a 10 year old girl.
Comparison btw JP va and US va
while watching that vid I also notice that the English music is much better, imo
on another note, how many people do you think goku killed turning SS3
