I prefer 12 teams, but if you're going with 10 teams, you really need that slot position with 3 WRs and 2 RBs. If you go standard 3WR/2RB, or 2WR/2RB/1 slot, teams are a bit too stacked. Having the extra position puts more emphasis on drafting well late, which is really needed with just 10 teams. In 12 team leagues, the talent is spread out enough that drafting well late is already important.
