there's gonna be 25 like friday 13th
What I don't understand is why I never hear the Friday the 13th franchise, or the Nightmare franchise get nearly as much hate as Saw. The Saw movies weren't great (some of them weren't even good), but it just sort of became fun to go watch the annual gorefest once a year, just like the Friday franchise.
Paranormal activity is the same to me. It's not a great movie, but that isn't the point. Its a seasonal thing that serves the same purpose as going to a haunted house. It's just fun, especially if you enjoy the Halloween season.
I think some people are just expecting too much.

eah and if you enjoy the camcorder, found footage style of the original
Oh no I hate that shite. I never even saw the first one because Cloverfield made me want to kill myself

quote:yeah I agree. They're just fun movies to see around halloween. But I do think so far Paranormal Activity is a cut above Saw. I watched the first two and was lie ok not bad but I see where this is going. I hadn't seen one since and I watched like 10 minutes of Saw 5 or some shite and it was pretty wretched. I couldn't believe how far the franchise had fallen off. I disagree with those that think PA has reached that level.
