You don't watch things in slow motion. Valencia, world class diver, may have started going down a fraction of a second before he was fouled, but the ref can't see that. It's a foul.

So your saying a dive is a legitimate foul if the player is good enough at it to make it difficult for the ref?

Okay so contact being made justifies a foul? If that's the case we should have had two or three penalties
