I think he'll ultimately stay another season, maybe two depending on the circumstances. If CL isn't met, by then, all the best to him.
The reality is he currently plays for a club who idolizes him in a way very few can. He's also a fierce competitor, and seems to relish being the star of the show. He's got the full backing of the manager, the team is being built around him, and his wage demands are being met.

Exactamundo! he will not be given those liberties at Barca, RM or Bayern... Torres found that out the hard way!
I agree, one more year... this summer is key to our future... get in the pieces to show him we are trying to compete NOW! This doesnt mean bring in 3 or 4 20 year olds... We need guys that ready to step in and compete for and or win starting positions...
I'll say it here... I'm willing to give Pepe *ducking* another season too, to get back to his best!
If I do have a bad quality, its extreme loyalty

Let's hope but I think you're right on this though.

So this is a quote from the guy who just had to step down from the FA, because he was texting with another black man and dropped an N bomb on him...

Fantastic video showing why passing out of the back is so rewarding.
Most people don't understand that passing in the back is more than just keeping the ball and boosting passing numbers. A lot of people think it's worthless and boring. Really what it is doing is wearing out your opponent. This is probably why we've had so much success in the second half of most of our matches. We wear teams out early on, and they have no legs by the end. That video illustrates it perfectly.

Just read that Suarez and Sturridge have scored 10 goals combined in the 7 matches they have both started.

I'm not sure what all this means???
Anyway, it really sucked not having a match this weekend... Glad Everton lost and hopefully the Hammers take down Spurs... here's for a hat trick from Big Andy

I think it actually is better for Liverpool if Tottenham stay top 4 and keep Arsenal out.

yeah, I havent given it that much thought... but I fricking hate them...
I guess deep down inside Im hoping we run the table, Bale has a season ending injury (wrong I know... only acceptable when talking about a ManUre player) and Arsenal implodes with all their internal drama...

I think Tottenham is only going to keep improving, regardless of where they finish in the league. Losing Bale will hurt, but I like AVB and think he will succeed.
Arsenal is on the way down, and we need one of those teams to drop to make room for us. If they lose CL play, that could really hurt their club. If they happen to make it again, they are prestigious enough to rebuild with top talent.

I think If they lose Bale, thats huge and they will start to fall... But I think he will be gone with or without CL football...
Arsenal is becoming very average and they have done nothing in the transfer market to assume they will go after anything but second rate talent... Though, the rumors are they will spend big in the summer.
I think Chelsea is full of talent, but they have no heart... their players are uninspiring. But all that takes is one summer of buying the latest, big names and that can change quickly...
Either one... I dont think the talent gap is that big between us and them. The top 3 is a different story. Either way, it will be a dog fight for that 4th spot in the coming years...

Should be a lot of fun. A top CB pairing for Agger and a full season of Suarridge and I think we can make great strides and compete next year. Realistically I think 14/15 will be the year we really become serious competitors.

I really like that BR is scouting the Netherlands and France. Their seems to be many gems over there for reasonable prices (hell we got Luis for under £23mm)...
We just scouted this guy Romain Alessandrini who is having a great year at Rennes after being in the lower divisions. The compilation is from last year, there is not one for this year made yet. But you can find his individual goals and they are amazing.
Anyway, he may or may not be worth taking a punt on, but this is what we're going to be going after IMO.
Apparently BR was watching both of the Feynerood CBs (Stefan de Vrij and Bruno Martins Indi) in Holland over the weekend and there's talk of a deal for both...
And of course, there is all our favorite attacking mid over there...

Surprised some of the other posters on this board didn't beat this drum... IMO did he step on him in the act of running? yes... but did he stamp on him? no and you'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise...
