How many fixtures are we going to have to look forward to seeing Gervinho up top and Ramsey out wide?
I haven't seen this match yet, but generally speaking the two of them at those positions for the most part don't provide me with confidence on attack. Sure they have bright spots at times, but I guess you could just say I am not a fan of the Ramsey out wide, or Gervinho up top experiment. They either aren't aggressive enough in front of goal or technical enough to produce something on the majority of their chances for my tastes.

Diaby out a minimum of three weeks with a thigh injury.
IT BEGINS
(I actually don't hate the lineup we started with. Plays more like a 442 anyways.)

I don't mind Ramsey as the "wide" player when we play teams with great midfields. He plays inside for the most part. Last week he was instrumental in controlling the midfield and continuing link-up play. He also allowed Cazorla to roam without a shadow defender because both were looking dangerous. It looked to be more of the same in the first half today, but he faded in the second half. Couldn't agree with you more on Gervinho. I almost think Walcott as the striker could give us everything Gervinho gives, but he wouldn't stop play by dribbling into defenders. Not the biggest fan of Walcott, but he can certainly provide more than Gervinho.
