I don't think I added Black Patent to my porter. I used Brown and Chocolate and I think it came out real nice. I think the Black Patent will add a lot of roast to the flavor, so not sure you will miss it.

Yeah, we were thinking about dry hopping it with some coffee grounds or something like that.
