I have 3 gen4 glocks and I actually like the grip texture on them more then the 3rd gen. 3rd still has the finger grooves as well but the grip texture is a little different... Less aggressive. The first and second gen glocks don't have the grooves. The first gen glocks were 17's and I think very few 19's.
