I bought a Union jersey yesterday, but I think I'm jumping on the Sporting KC bandwagon. I'm not sure which one to become a fan of.

Both have relatively new parks and good fan bases.

gotcha, well im giving a few clubs an audition right now, from the east division i'm looking at SKC and DCU. any qualms with those? from the west i'm looking at something like sounders and dynamo or dallas because i'd like to be able to attend some of my new teams games. i've heard RSL is not a bad squad but i've yet to see them play. watching DCU v Impact right now. waiting for SJ v LA tonight. What are your thoughts on those teams? i dont really need to sounders run down as i know they are your favorite haha

Not a big issue, but Dynamo play in the East.

I love the atmosphere at Sporting KC's new park. DC United is OK with a decent fan base. Someone else will have to make the pitch for them.

The Dynamo are always competitive and they have a beautiful new park.

RSL is consistently one of the top teams in the league. They have a great fan base. They do not attract many of the big-name designated players but they have a great coach and are always very tough.

The obvious choice is the Sounders but you sound like you don't want a pitch on them.

The Quakes are a good club this year. They will have 50,000 at their home match tonight against the Galaxy. Chris Wondolowski, Alan Gordon, and Steven Lenhart are fun players to watch.

The Galaxy have many of the big-name players in the league (Beckham, Donovan, Keene).

SKC: Great fanbase/stadium, sweet kits, several great young stars (Zusi, Sapong, Kamara), entertaining brand of attacking soccer.

DCU: Young midfield that could be great in the future (especially Najar), DeRo is a veteran star, head coach Ben Olsen is a club legend, championship tradition...recent woeful seasons, terrible stadium (RFK)

HOU: Many people in the LA area love the Dynamo, have a brand-new stadium that's supposed to be the best in the league, not as many marketable stars as other teams

FCD: Brek Shea. That is all. (Terrible fan support)

RSL: Possession-based soccer, head coach Jason Kreis is a mastermind, BeckerDreads, well supported, smaller market

SJ: Wondolowski is a goal scoring machine, getting a new stadium soon, surprise leader in the Western Conference, great attacking team

LA: Please don't pick them. Biggest bandwagon team in the league. Donovan, Beckham, Keane...star-studded, always near the top.

Glad to see a new MLS fan on here not considering the Timbers. Last year, it seemed like all the people who wanted to be MLS fans on here wanted to support the stinkin' Timbers. I notice not nearly as many of them are around this season.

i'm really leaning toward SKC right now, i like their colors and after watching their game v Fire i was pretty impressed by their fans/atmosphere. CJ Sapong is sweet, he might be my favorite mls'er behind Brek.

i like the sounders, i just know enough about them already to need a pitch on them i really like montero

DC is just something new in terms of potential teams. i watched their game vs NYRB and i really like de rosario and pontius is quickly trying to steal my heart.

quakes seem decent, just a queer name

timbers are semi intriguing to me only because when i watched the sounders at timbers game i thought the smoke was cool as frick

Last place will scare folks away.

And I guess selling out NFL stadiums don't make Seattle's fans "the best".
