Like you said playing tight courses is tough when going through a swing change. I would try to play the most open, links style course you can find in the area. The only way to get better during a swing change is hitting on the range, and hitting real golf shots in the fairway

I wanted to play an open course today, but my "friends" didn't let me know they were going play until this morning. And I didn't want to risk not playing at all. So I had to play here or take another weekend off. Didn't want to do that

Going to play at 3:30. Hit the ball better late in my round yesterday than I've hit it in the last two weeks so I'm a little excited to play even if it is 150 degrees.
Somehow I figured out that I was gripping the club too tight and my ball flight was so inconsistent. I was either hitting a fade that sometimes sliced or I would play the fade and yank one dead straight that went about 25 yards left of where I wanted it.
It was like a light went off in my head halfway through the round. Had a bogey, two doubles, and a triple on the front for a 45. 42-45 is pretty common for me, but I usually just spread out a bunch of bogeys. Then, I doubled 10 and sent 2 ob and made a 10 on 11, yes a 10, then the revelation. I played the last 7 at 1 over to finish with an 89.
