In the market for 2 kayaks so went to the demo Saturday that Massey's put on. Just wanted some feedback - really liked the Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 12ft and the Hobie outback 12 ft. any pros and cons I should know about? 1st time Kayak buyer. Will be using it mostly in Cocodrie.

I have both, but my Outback isn't the new design. The PA is heavy and doesn't track as straight, but it's great to fish out of. Plenty of space with a great seat. The OB is lighter, quicker, and more maneuverable.

You’d be good with either. The outback will be faster and lighter, but the PA will be more comfortable. Once you’re on the water, the weight doesn’t matter. I’d advise going with the 14ft PA over the 12ft PA if you go that route. It tracks better and doesn’t dig in when you turn like the 12 does.
