I didn't want to assume that was a consensus. However, Harden is still worth more than Henderson and the #2

I agree with that in terms of value. But when you can win the world championship, and follow that up with the #2 overall pick, and another first round pick, that's hard to pass up.

OKC is a team built through the draft. They obviously have alot of faith in that system and can get a great player at 2.

Hard to say what position they need though, they are loaded.

Why should the Thunder want more than the 2nd pick? The guys contract is up after the Finals.... He's not going to resign with OKC. The guy can be a starter for ANY Team in the NBA why would he want to be a 6th man for a minimal salary, when he can make more as a starter for any team?

This is a weak, weak draft and next years doesn't look that great either. I think you roll the dice and keep him on the roster for as long as you can, and then move him at the trade deadline if you can't a deal done before then.

There's not going to be a Harden level player in the next 2 drafts, I think Durant and Westbrook are open to restructuring their deals if it means creating a mini-dynasty. I think all the guys would take less money than what they can get on the open market to stay in OKC. Fish and Perk will let them know it's hard to get to the top and harder to stay there.
