I'm gonna chase the green trout Friday but might make a bream trip Saturday. Anywhere in particular been on? I might try Verret, any word on bream there? Or anywhere?

there were a lot of boats last weekend. Didn't fish, just went to see if people were fishing.

Cocodrie Lake near Turkey Creek has been getting good reports also

Dam near, apparently. The Firemen Perch Jerk leader had a whopping SIX fish, I was told. This was about a month ago.

Last two weeks two we have got on some big goggle eye in the spillway.... The month before that we were catching the shite out of bluegill in the Corne/Grand Bayou area.... Thinking about heading to Corne or the south end of Verret Friday

Spillway is a lot better option than Verret right now. (Run-outs and grass beds near the R/O's.)

No sir I'm not. Fished there a couple of times this year and know plenty of people who had the same result. Cocodrie was doing real well about a month ago but it has slowed a little...

I do go camp/cook there with some of the family members who have camps but I don't fish there.

The short ramp skeers me. I know of more than one instance someone backed too far and their tires were off the ramp.
