I had a similar problem several years ago with my Centipede lawn when I noticed that Bermuda had infiltrated the Centipede. I killed the entire area with Roundup and replanted Centipede sod. About a year later I noticed a few sprigs of Bermuda and definitely did not plan on killing and re-planting again.
I found a product called Over the Top at Clegg's Nursery in Baton Rouge. You mix it with an oil to make sure that it stays on the grass. This product has worked well for me in that it kills the Bermuda but not the Centipede.
