Eh. Grubbs isn't better than Nicks, and who did you replace Meachem with? I'm pulling a blank here.

We have the best QB over the last 6 years in NFL history.

A decent argument can be made for this.

We added another big WR in the draft.

There's a reason Toon was available so late, but then again, anybody can look like a great WR with Drew throwing the ball.

And we have two injured RBs and an injured TE returning next year.

I don't think David Thomas is going to be in the NFL after his problems with concussions.

Then, he seems to have glossed over all our free agent defensive signings and draft choices, plus returnees from last year.

That is true. Lofton, Hawthorne, and Bunkley are going to massively upgrade the defense.

I'm interested on how he's going to run this defense.

And he also forgets we have one of the best special teams units in the league - kickers, punters, and return teams....

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm not saying the Saints are terrible in that regards, but you're league average outside of your punter (Moorstead is a top 5 punter).

I said "possibly". Grubbs has been ranked second behind Nicks, so it may be a wash.
We are replaceing Meachem with Arrington and Toon, two different kind of receivers than Meachem. 6'4" and 6'3", more physical - will allow for more of a ball control short passing game offense.

Maybe Brady over the entire last 6 years.
Nobody else....

Yes. He was injury prone in college....

Hopefully, Hicks and the return of Turk as well.

He ran a pretty damn good defense against us in St. Louis last year :)

Kasay was a very good kicker last year, Morstead can kickoff deep, Sproles is a very good return man.
