I agree. I dont think he killed anyone. It was all in his head. Great movie though. Cant believe they are remaking it.

So, Norman Bates didn't kill anyone either?
I like the "all in his head" theory--I like the ambiguity even more--but I don't think the title is any indication as which is correct. Plenty--if not most--serial killers have been psychopaths.
