We're too ignorant to read two paragraphs, much less an entire article.

For the record, that's the first time I've seen that, and I think it's the best "tl;dr" gif I've ever seen.

Quality article. I wish admins would do something to stop the ignorance of "Too long, didn't read" posts.
Unfortunately, the rant is filled with people who look at post counts as a medal on their shirt and illiteracy is the gold star.

I preface this by saying I will, in fact read the piece. But I just love this gif.

I'm just going to go ahead and say "we" here. I don't play for the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team, but I like them, and I pay taxes.
I loved this. Made me chuckle.

Seriously, Johnson is good, and good at a position where Team USA has generally relied on substandard placeholder types and out-of-position old soldiers like Hejduk. Just suddenly having him on the squad feels like finding a solution to a problem you'd gotten so accustomed to that you'd stopped even thinking of it as a problem. He's the soccer equivalent of laser eye surgery or getting air conditioning for the first time.
Can't disagree with this.

Neither can I. I remember him bombing up and down the wing, but that's all he had, he could run for days.

Klinsmann seems to have decided — spectacularly if not wisely — that the floor is actually a boring place to be, and that what we really ought to do is focus on technique, creativity, and speed, push the ceiling up into the exosphere, and let the ground take care of itself. Party on the roof!
I liked this part.
