I will be working too. At least for the first half. Hopefully will get home in time for the second.

While discussing this match with a friend of mine (I'm looking at you NewtonReb) and talking about our expectations/predictions, I realized that I am hopelessly optimistic every time the Yanks take to the pitch. I always expect a good result (usually a win). Is anyone else like this? I don't care who the USMNT is facing, I always feel like we should win it. Not just simply a hope that we win, but that "this is our year" feeling every time a new season starts for your favorite team. I realize this mentality sets up for potential (and assured) heartbreak, but I am of the opinion that our boys can beat anyone in the world. Maybe this is just typical American arrogance, or maybe it is desperate bias, but regardless I'll be damned if I don't expect an American victory tonight against the Brazilians.
God Bless America and the boys in Red, White and Blue.
