Common response is beginning. but I say the finale. Favorite part is when german sniper shoots shoshawna. Music was epic.

It's a great movie all the way around.
You must be watching TNT.

David Bowie with Showshanna is pretty great as well.

Basically, every scene without Pitt is awesomely intense.
Pitts scenes are fine for comedic value, but funny the most well known actor in such a fine movie added very little.

I watched one scene with Pitt tonight and made me want to watch Fight Club.
The DVD is playing now.

I thought the scene where he was introducing the bear Jew to the colonel or whatever was pretty intense.
But waltz stole the movie IMO

I thought the french chick really should have gotten an oscar nomination.

This isn't a good movie to watch on cable

Is one of the most well-written scenes ever IMO. I could watch it over and over. The Gestapo officer nailed that role.

Another classic. It's so cleverly written, i.e. when Waltz says he's exhausted the extent of his French. You just immediately know that's bullshite since he was speaking it fluently. There had to be a reason behind the switch. Excellent foreshadowing by QT.
The scene where Zeller shoots Shoshanna is so beautiful as well. I agree, Lacour, the music is absolutely perfect for that part. They really nailed it.

Yeah, I agree.
After watching Fight Club I think I'm gonna put in Basterds DVD.
Love me some Brad Pitt.

The bar scene. The opening drags for to long and please don't give me any fanboy bs

Those three scenes in that order exactly. The opening scene lures you in perfectly. I knew Waltz would win one of the oscars after that first scene

So to disagree makes one a fanboy even though that scene was amazing?

It's actually showing well on cable. I love this movie, Chrisoph Waltz is unreal.
Eta, I say the opening. The bar scene is second, but I really like the suspense of the scene when Shosanna meets Landa.
