Sorry about the Religious thread

could you point me in the direction of which board I should post about someone who was spying on the Pope and leaking information to the press that got the President of the Vatican Back fired.
IMO It's more about spying and scandal than Religion. No big deal, I just wasn't aware of the breadth of the religious restrictions of the site.

That board doesn't exist in the TD realm.

cool is that the board everyone's talking about?

At present there is no board for that thread. It's a story about the inner-workings of the Vatican.
Until further notice Chicken does not want religious threads on any of the boards, unless they have direct bearing on politics.
Without posting the thread again, what did you see as the political implication of that subject?

Per the Mother Clucker in Charge, no religious threads unless they have some clear political context.
But religion has been a vigorously debated topic here since the beginning of time:

the same geo-political implications of any nations leader being spied on and information getting leaked that got the president of the national bank fired.
Scandal is scandal...Vatican City is a Country
In the leaks were allegations of the Vatican Government "awarding of contracts to Italian contractors at inflated prices."
Things that possibly could be used to ask the "President" of Vatican City to step down.
I don't want to belabor the issue, and I don't mind a Zero religion restriction...just I wouldn't care for a Biased restriction of Religion
ie "South Carolina jail bars Catholic Chaplain from celebrating Mass " okay

Let me run it past Chicken and see what he thinks.

you don't have to LA
it would have gotten maybe 10 posts anyway
I just found it interesting that the Pope was being spied on and his stuff leaked.
I don't want to ruffle any feathers (pun intended)

Vatican City is a Country
Population 832.
110 acres.

The Vatican citizenry consists almost entirely of two groups: clergy, most of whom work in the service of the Holy See, and a very few as officials of the state; and the Swiss Guard. Most of the 2,400 lay workers who comprise the majority of the Vatican workforce reside outside the Vatican and are citizens of Italy, while a few are citizens of other nations. As a result, all of the City's actual citizens are Catholic as are all the places of worship.

Unless this effects Italy or has some other political relevance, I'm not seeing the political relevance.
Not that you asked for my opinion...

it does, the Vatican has been tied to money laundering in the past as well

In January, an Italian television investigation broadcast private letters to Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone and the pope from Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the former deputy governor of Vatican City and currently the Holy See's ambassador in Washington.
The letters showed that Vigano was transferred after he exposed what he argued was a web of corruption, nepotism and cronyism linked to the awarding of contracts to Italian contractors at inflated prices.
Here's your political connection.
Post thread title as "Vatican's ambassador to US exposes Italian contractor scandal".
I'm trying for you, brah...
But I'm still not sure how it's really relevant to American politics...

I've been warned not to, and have been told that LA hates me and wants me to do something so he can legitimately ban me.....but of course I'm a narcissistic conspiracist....so that may be the explanation over LA's contempt.

Odds of TN Bhoy starting a thread doesn't involve either Catholicism or abortion (or both) are virtually nil.
But things do seem to be quieter these days...

This thread will self destruct in 3, 2, 1...
