Penn and Teller say it's BS and that's good enough for me.

Not Primerica specifically, but MLM in general.

Is Amway considered a MLM business?

I had an aunt an uncle in Amway when I was younger (I might have been in my early teens). They were in it for a few years, but during that time they pretty much distanced themselves from their family and anyone not associated with Amway.

Their sons (my cousins) and I are pretty much like brothers so I would go to their house on a regular basis and everything they used was Amway products. I use to hate that because they would have the Amway version of everything fro chips to shampoo and they would always say "we don't have ______ but we use the Amway version which is actually better quality than __________".

I think part of the reason they started becoming distant to everyone around them not in Amway is because everyone got tired of hearing about how Amway makes a better quality product of just about everything someone uses. It was kind of like "why do you use that cleaning product? You want to buy something that works much better and cost the same?".

I understand an aggressive approach works on some people, but there is nothing worse than someone telling me what I should want/need.
