Posted this on the F&D board, but figured I'd get more responses here.
Me and the wife are in DC right now "Capital Hill area," and we are wondering if anybody could point us to a good fun bar here in DC.

I personally like the Dubliner over by Union Station...

I am not going to be much help here but hopefully someone can piggyback off of my answer, but anyways a consultant was in the office several weeks ago from D.C. and he mentioned a bar that sold beers around what Jayson Werths batting average was. This was last year as well. Seemed like a cool place if you are a baseball fan. Sorry I cannot be any more specific.
Anyone know what I am talking about?
ETA: A google search took me to Duffys Irish Pub... Looks kind of meh...

The only bar that I have been to, but unsure about how close it is to you, is Churchkey. One of the best beer bars that I have ever been to.
