My new st aug grass. (4 months old). Has some brown spots growing on each blade all over? Anyone have any idea what it is or know anybody in baton rouge that will test soil and come up with treatments?

It's more than likely fungus. You can buy a fungicide from Lowes or HD that will cure your problem.

Did you just fertilize you St Aug?

Also could be chinch bugs. But you normally wouldn't see any damage till mid summer when it is hot and dry.

Used to be very expensive. Not sure how much now. Both will contro brown patch or leaf spot.
