I'll preface this with LSU is very deserving of #1, but if there are weak spots:

On D:

- Replacing the DB coach and two top rated CBs in 2 years is tough, but if it can be done leave it to the chief and LSU's talent.

- LBs are gonna be young and make mistakes with run fits and coverage early in the season, so it may cost a few big plays or important stops. But if the front 7 stays healthy it could be VERY good... great by the end of the season.

On O:

- Mett is a first year starter with high expectations due to his talent. However, if he plays average for a passing QB he is FAR surpassing our previous starter/s and will be considered a success. The only potential problems will lie with his ability to limit turnovers and avoid pressure from SEC pressure. If he handles pressure and plays efficiently, LSU offense will be glorious.

- WRs are talented, but do they have the ability of a Reuben Randle to seperate downfield? I don't remember any deep passes in stride to anyone other than Reuben (but I think this was a QB problem). Hopefully someone will emerge as a deep threat, but it could be an issue if the TIgers need to open up the field. I will say I fully expect the WRs to look GREAT this year as a result of ZM.

With these minor, possible issues, I don't see LSU losing games because of talent or scheme... only if an opponent plays great and catches the Tigers on an off day will they lose.

The Lb playbook is very small probably 30 pages, if that. I'm not worried about the backers.
