The Big 12 always had a geography issue... the biggest problem being all the prime recruiting states were in the south (leaving kansas, iowa, missouri, nebraska, colorado in the north vs texas in the south).
If we play fantasy land and FSU jumps to the Big 12 (for reasons that are not all that logical IMO) - they might be able to finally fix their geography based recruiting issues by making East and West divisions instead of North and South
