That can't be right. So if I bet $5 on win, $5 on show, and $5 on place on a horse with 10-1 odds, and he came in third, there is no way I win $113...

Yeah, he is getting $7.20. I would think its that X2.5 so $18.

No, you ran third. He paid $7.60 to show. So you get that 2.5 times. Please refrain from telling me how gambling on horses operates as I have been doing it my entire life. I grew up in the business.

Supadave....you lose on the WIN and PLACE bets. The SHOW bet wins. So multiply $7.20 by 2.5 and that's how much your ticket is worth...so $18. You've made $3. Dont' spend it all in one place.

Damn. I thought you bet on I'll Have Another. Ignore my previous answer. Multiply Show payout by 2.5.
