Hello All,

I am just starting to plan a trip down for a football game this fall. We will have a group of probably 8-10 guys coming down to either the USC or Miss St game. Can anyone shed some light on the best places\lots to tailgate and any other must see\do things?? Thanks!

Pretty much the whole campus. It varies from place to place but the entire campus is packed. The closer to the stadium, the richer the tailgate.

Tailgating is spread all throughout campus. There is a ton of space on the parade grounds and this area is usually occupied by a mostly younger crowd (students and recent grads) which makes for a fun time. I would stick to tailgating on campus as opposed to Nicholson Drive where more of our "sidewalk fans" set up.

Just walk around saying you are an out of state tiger fan and you will have a good time tailgating.

Go see mike's habitat
Watch the band march down the hill
be in the stadium in time for Callin Baton Rouge and the four corner salute

Get on Campus at about 8 am
