Pretty sure I meant the seasons that you don't cite. I was referring more to the JJ years, where our offense has sucked donkey balls...check your media guide. 2011 was also good for 8 games until Boy Wonder got his starting position back. We didn't get a single first down in the first half of the seccg and didn't cross the 50 in the NC with zero points.

I'm not propping either, just trying to shine a light on the truth of the situation.

You should remember those were the #1 and #5 Ds, where out of the 1st 8 games, maybe MSU had a decent D.
When JJ faced similar lesser Ds of the Hogs, WKU and OM he had a good performance.
Considering the stiffer Ds he faced, JJ being 1.3% less in completions, and .4ypa less than Lee pretty much evens things out.
Neither deserves the hate perpetuated on this site.
The gaff between the 2 QBs isn't as large as many make it out to be.
