it had nothing to do with being in a pass happy offense. It has to do with the way the 2 teams move the ball through the air

so a mesh route to welker in the slot has the same danger as throwing to colston and graham 15-20 yards downfield?

Well like I said, a Qb can be intercepted doing the simplest of forward passes. Now, I know to call JJ a Qb is laughable, but still, its all about taking advantage of your personnel and its up to the defense to defend that.

That does not mean that one offense is 'safer' then the other. If a defense suddenly changes their attack and renders your offense useless, well suddenly your offense isn't too 'safe' anymore. Brady used throw it down in a seam if thats what the offense called for. You never saw Brady in a 1 back set every play, he changed his offense for the defense, like any elite Qb will do.

It can be if they play their LBs in a zone. Or drop a lineman back when Brady is about to throw.
