definitely my favorite baseball moment. Close second is the comeback on Irvine in game 2 of the super a few years ago. Then we sent out the old box in style. epic.

I'd say there are 2 that you'd have to say were better based on when they happend:

- In the 1993 CWS semi-finals, Long Beach St beat us 10-8 in the first game, forcing an elimination game to get to the title game. Long Beach scored 2 runs in the T9 to take a 5-4 lead. Then in the bottom of the 9th, Armondo Rios hit an RBI double off the wall to tie the game. Then Todd Walker ( ) hit a game winning single to send LSU to the title game where we won our 2nd CWS title in 3 years.

- in the 2000 CWS title game, LSU was down 5-2 to Stanford going into the 8th and hadn't had a hit since the 2nd inning. Then Barbier hit a solo homer. Wally walked, then Jeremy Witten hit a homerun to tie the game. In the 9th, Theriot singled, Fontenot walked, then Brad Cresse, who had been 1/12 with 8 ks going into the at bat after a monster 30 HR season, hits the game winning walk-off single to win the CWS title.

That Irvine super regional game in 2008 was definitely incredible and something special, I think you'd have to put the other two ahead simply because they came in the CWS, one being in the title game. It was also an awesome last great game in Old Alex Box before the beatdown we put on them in game 3.
