See 2012 recruiting thread. Chris Stomp is a Dutch citizen and basketball fan over there and follows the situation closely and is involved in coaching. His son plays with the younger Hamminks and he is saying that rumors over there have Shane signing with LSU today.
Others have said that Hammink has "LSU Bound" in his Facebook status.
Randy Rosetta of Scout has confirmed with Geert Hammink.

Rivals doesn't rate foreign players not playing in the U.S.
I am confidant that he would be, at minimum, a Rivals 150 player, borderline 4 star.
