Honestly, those threads are always the same trolls in them. It's not as much good open discussion as they would lead you to believe. It's sick the enjoyment they get out of making fun of someone's beliefs. I think what you did today was the way to go and leave it at that. No one here is going to change someones minds one way or the other and the discussions always spiral out of control.
