I'm a bit underwhelmed, but so then was I with the head coach hire, but I'm gonna give the good ole' boys a chance.
Not sure if the Livingston thing was ever more than a figment of LSU fan's imaginations, but one thing that struck me about that is that one of the main selling points for Jones from many was that he would bring in Livingston (who by the way has never coached or recruited at the college level...any level).
That in and of itself kind of puts it in perspective.
But Hey, they did get that Mitchell kid to go to UNT some kind of way. And that kid could play anywhere. Now how they got him there.....?

Mitchel isn't Forrest's recruit. Mitchell ended up at UNT because he had to pay all of his tuition and fees because he was not on scholarship and his mother lives in DFW. Combine that with less stringent academic polices as a non-scholarship player and UNT was for the most part his only option
The kid originally signed with Missouri, but did not qualify
