Im not a huge bruce fan, but the hate that man gets is amazing to me. He puts on an incredible live show and is an excellent song writer. How people cant respect that boggles my mind.

When I was a kid in the 80s, I hated him... I got to college and friends turned me on to his 70s stuff and Ive been a convert ever since... Even his 80s output is so much better in retrospect...
I will admit, I never really heard Nebraska in the 80s, due to it not really being on the radio, I'm not sure I would have gotten it then anyway...

Nebraska is one of the greatest American records of all time, IMO. Levon would agree.
Springsteen's version from the record is better, but not by much.
And this is coming from one of the biggest fans of The Band you'll meet.

The Band. No question about it. Springsteen might have more great records but nothing he ever did came close to music from big pink or the band
Did Eric Clapton ever dream about joining the e street band?

Reading comprehension is your friend. Does clapton dream of playing Atlantic city?

The Band, hands down. One of the most talented acts of all time, musically, vocally and lyrically.
