You could go buy a few hundred black cat firecrackers. Then find a couple of neighborhood kids that is willing to camp in your yard all weekend for about twenty bucks apiece plus some sammiches and pizza. They will then throw a firecracker at the bird every time he wonders into your yard. The bird will either get the point or lose its hearing.
