Gruden ran the TB franchise into the ground. And for this supposed QB guru, can anyone name a Tampa QB that actually improved under Gruden?
And, make no mistake, Al Davis had control over personnel in Oakland when Gruden was there.

Gruden gets mentioned for every job because he wants to be mentioned for every job. He's trying to get his brother a head coaching job. He wants to bring his brother in as a coordinator, and then have him take over after a few years. He tried to get the U to agree to that deal back when they hired their last coach.
This is the only reason he's mentioned for every job that comes up. He's trying to hook up his brother.

yeah Gruden had no input whatsoever. It wasn't Gruden who chose to get rid of Jeff George in favor of Rich Gannon.
