300 yd passing game...

I don't think you'll see it the first three games against inferior talent because les will be running the ball to run the clock... Maybe against auburn when we might "have to throw"

I know for a fact Flynn had a couple in 07, and I'm not positive but I think JL had one against UGA in 08.

Yeah I doubt it'll be in the first couple of games but it would sure be a beautiful thing to see!

I remember listening to the Sports Illustrated guy that did astory leadning up to the MNC. He said we ran the ball 77% of the time in 2011. That was up from 72% from 2009. Hopefully we will be a little more balanced this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is in a game that we actually LOSE. How would that make you feel? Would you be happy then?

With our defense you get plenty of short fields. Couple that with a strong running game that burns clock and turf and 300 yards passing becomes highly unlikely.

I just want to see a competent passing game. If the offense gets 200+ passing and rushing a game then we should be able to win every game handily with our defense. We were able to get 13 wins last year with those rushing numbers and a lesser passing game. The added passing game should be the difference in that 14th game.
If I want to see a high powered passing offense I'll just watch the Saints.

As long as it comes in a winning effort.
Lee had 300+yds in '08 loss to UGA.
Lots of passing doesn't always equal a thing of beauty.

Exactly. Not to say we don't have the capability to throw for 300 yards, but we will not have to out of necessity.

Or how about a game where we needed our QB to make plays via his arms (and not his legs)...say maybe our last game. How'd that make you feel watching that shitshow for a passing attack? Did that make you happy?

I think 170-250 will be about where we live. 300+ and we may be playing from behind. I'd rather 200 and a 2 score win.
