I can appreciate what the Beatles did, considering the era they were in at the time and I can appreciate some of the song writing and actually like a couple of their songs.

I just think their music is uninspiring and mediocre for my taste, and don't have one single Beatles song on my MP3 player. I like Bob Dylan's songwriting, just hope it isn't him singing. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate his place in history, just means he (and the Beatles) are not may style and my musical taste.

Good post. I like the idea of the Beatles way more than I like their music. I'll always respect them for what they are, b/c there almost has to be something about them for them to have been so popular.

But I personally cannot find it. I usually change xm stations when they come on. It's not that I think they suck, I just find them boring.
