Right..8 - 5/9 - 4..it's the end of the world. Looking at the fate of UT and UF those were actually stellar 'down' years.

Doesn't "statistically" covers everything from win/loss to hardware to playcalling to scheme to recruiting?
It can cover everything if you want to look at it that way. By saying statistically he is a top 10 coach, I was speaking in terms of win/loss record. As I posted earlier, I think quite a few coaches could have had a solid record considering the state of the program when Les was hired.
I think he does fine with managing the program, hiring assistants, and recruiting for the most part. I do not like several things about him that I would rather not get into because I do not want to be too negative. Everyone, for the most part, is in high spirits after the spring game and I hate to piss in the cheerios on a Sunday night.

Oh geez, I thought we already proved his gimmicky crap doesn't work vs real defenses...
Did Urban Meyer's gimmicky crap work versus real defenses? That's right, shut up. I think Chip Kelly is fricking awesome. That's the beauty of opinions.

I think he is very good. Really looking forward to Oregon/USC game(s). Thomas and Bennet may be two of the football fastest guys in the same backfield in CFB. Should be very exciting to watch.

Gotcha.
According to Stassen: 2005 - 2011 LSU is 3rd in nation at 80%. BSU and TCU are higher.

Easily top ten. There are things he does well, things he doesn't but he recruits enough talent alone to BR to keep LSU near the top of the SEC, which is top ten.

Just think if LSU played either of their schedules since 2005! Murder

I'm not sure what that means, perhaps I missed it. (I usually post on ESPN and am new to this site) But watching them play last year their speed is tremendous...against the speed of say an LSU D they would be matched...but there are not many of those around.

Hoodoo I'm trying to see the posters that think he is shite. If LSU wins the SEC ( and frick the BCS after 2011)this year it'll be the first time in over a decade. IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!
First time in over a decade back to back. I'm drunky Brewster tonight

Hey! I know. I said if the worst LSU sees is 8/4 with Miles as coach, then that's about as much as you can ask for.
Poster said," accepting mediocre". I never responded!

Also club will tie UGA at 12 and be one behind UT. It's possible CLM could move LSU into that historical #2 spot ahead of Vols and behind Bama before he retires.

Who? People act like talent wins games. Then why didn't Saban win the title last year with the 2011 Bama defense with 4 first rounders and a senior qb? No answer

I might be overly optimistic but I really think the biggest challenge coming to the club will be making that HC hire in 2020 or so. To get 3 good ones in a row is a trick. But fortune seems to follow Miles.

Uhhh. CUM offense didn't work without a once in a generation player like Tebow.

If we can continue to haves fence around LA , well be ok. Posters said losing Collins was a sign. frick Collins! He is a safety. Let me know when we lose a meaningful position player.
