Let's look at our team.
1 hole - Jones(athlete) can play struggling early but coming on. Our best baseball player
2 Hole - Dozar in and out of lineup. Good HS player out of Morgan City. Yes Morgan City. Overachiever
3 Hole - Katz (average guy at Jesuit) Did show pop but no position
4 Hole - Rhymes Could always hit. Average in field. Played 2B in High School because he was a liability
5 Hole - Nola (coming on on offense) defense as good as it gets
6 Hole - Ross (Overachieving this year??) We will see. Not highly recruited in HS
7 Hole - Hanover(Could not hit before BBCOR) 5'4" 140. SEC come on now
8 Hole - Didier???? 2 starts at LSU. Been there 4 years
9 Hole - Jared Foster Barbe guy Well coached player. probably best HS coached player on team but a freshman. 3rd best player on HS team.

Now tell me why we bunt. Runs at a minimum!! take em when u can

We bunt to try to avoid the dp which we have hit into so many times in crutial situations.

Didn't work, but not a terrible idea. We have to get those down. No excuses on not getting the bunt down.

I agree we should take runs when we can get them in a situation at the end of a close game, but not in the first inning! Its kills all potential for a big inning.

I agree this is not the most talented team, but that is partially due to the fact that we recruit players who never have any intention of coming here. Also, I played with Katz. He was always a way above average player before he got to LSU. Though, I didn't expect he would be our best hitter this year.
