for me personally, it was in the 100-125 range before tip. la mayas on magazine. it was good, but i can get ropa vieja almost as good for 12 bucks in the ghetto in the same city.

You spent that much at Maya's??? I'm surprised. I've been there a few times (albeit, at lunch time) and it was under $20 for me to eat there. I can't comment on how much their dinner menu is though but that price range really surprises me. Did you order booze/drinks when you were there??
