Read every word and am a little less pissed at the NFL and more pissed at how stupid we were. We were warned many many times.

agree, it can help ya get past the overboardness. As much about disregard for authority, lying, and plain stupidity than the essential bounty issue

Goodell was just on the NFL network and basically sounded like he wasn't as mad about the bounty as he was the lie and cover ups.

NS, it is what it is. They are being hammered, and probably, rightly so. The only problem I have is the year for SP. it needs to clean up and I hope this does it.

Exactly. If you read the pdf you'll realize we could have squashed this many times and prob had a slap on the wrist. But lying and ignoring the boss man is what this actually is.

Yeah, I'm pissed at Sean, but I'm also pissed at some of the punishments that ultimately punish fans ala the draft picks.

But it's fairly clear, and common, that every team has something like this in place. How motivated would you be to stop something that everyone else does on some level?
Admittedly they did a poor job of covering it up, that's for sure.
To be clear, they needed some punishment, not excessive punishment like this though.

I understand bcs I'm pissed too. My point was that it wasn't all about the Bounty Program, which is what most people are focusing on. It's about 3 years of lying.
It's like an employee stealing office supplies and lying about them. Are you more pissed they took a .50 cent pencil or that they lyed about it?
