Saline sucks right now

Water is fine. High, but not in the woods much. Nothing going on in the spots where we caught them 5 weekends last year. Would have done better bass fishing. Of the 4 we kept, 3 came on casts to the exact same spot. Reports I've read are sucking too. Only people we saw catching were using long poles to stick way up in the button woods. Looked like a huge PITA. Not sure if I'll go back this year.

I've never been but lately my BIL and his dad have catching the hell out of sac a lait. Like 50-60 a trip. The past two weekends.

One big difference from last year is the hydrilla. While there was some where we fished last year, those places were all but unfishable this year. I guess our non-winter is to blame.

Me and my buddy caught 18a bass on watermelon red super flukes at saline in thethe hydrilla yesterday

We caught more there one afternoon after work from the bank than we did in the complex from a boat.

Clearly the difference was beer. We brought beer to the diversion canal and mopped up. 5 keepr sacs, a buncha barfish and goo.
