I would have to agree.
I don't think connecting is possible because of the walkway ramp to the south of east upper deck and the proximity of south stadium drive.....but I think they should try to make it a cool 100,000 capacity. I don't see a reason for more than that.
Bonus points for rennovated the south end zone lower tier grandstand and seating in the process.

Just about anything is possible with enough money but I don't think it would be that difficult to cantilever a foundation to avoid the existing.

The crack/spall repair is something they do on a regular basis but I am glad they decided to include the seating repair/replacement to go along with it.
