Does the rain out Hurt Nola"s chance for a sunday start?

I think the majority of fans feel like if he did well on Monday, he may deserve a sunday start with KM not doing well. I think one more good outing may have put him over the hill to get a shot. Especially since it would have been against the same exact team KM struggled with. (Basically a good indicator of where both pitchers are in my humble opinion.) So does PM give him a shot, or does he stick with KM one more time?

If PM is as stubborn as miles, then yes. But I think PM is starting to realize Cune is not what he used to be. He seemed to have less patience with him Sunday, soon as he started getting hit on Broussard was warming up.

Nola's slated to only throw 2-3 innings tomorrow. Could be to give him some work before using him on sunday.

Nah. He'll only throw 30 pitches tomorrow. It'll be basically a bullpen session.

I agree. I guess we will find out one way or another.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nola starts Sunday. Let KM start midweek games and gets his head back on. If he starts dominating midweek games then we will have a good problem because KM is not a relief pitcher.

quote:No. I predict Nola will start Sunday vs. Miss. St. and McCune will move to the bullpen.
