After an apparently thorough application process — from self-evaluations to interviews that included “mental math, puzzles and physical activities” — Dyakowski is one of four finalists on the program, which will reveal, according to a network news release, “there is more to intelligence than having a high IQ score or being a whiz at math or trivia.”
The mind of the five-year CFL veteran will be measured against a 23-year-old Mississauga woman who has a double major in physics, a minor in mathematics, and plays video games competitively; against a Winnipeg science teacher who studied theoretical quantum chemistry; and against a Toronto-based spoken word artist.
“It is a bit embarrassing to say I’m even considering myself in the running,” Dyakowski said.
But it should not be, at least according to the release that boasts Dyskowski’s “Mensa qualified intelligence.”

I guess he had to compensate for being such a nerd with a little party in the back.
But seriously, it's good to see a former player getting some positive press for his off the field activities.

Freshman year he dated a girl that lived in my dorm. He was quiet and a little bit awkward, but a really nice and smart guy.

Didn't he have a ragged out Trans Am or Camaro?

I agree. Guy always spoke to when you passed by him in the quad. Always had a smile on his face. He was definitely a fan favorite.
