Remember Amazing Stories?

I remember that series. I only watched one though...about the gunner in the belly of a B-17 getting trapped with damaged landing gear. He was an aspiring cartoonist. He winds up crawling into his imagination while in shock and draws cartoon wheels that the plane lands on. I think Kevin Costner was in it.

Some of them could be pretty scary. There was one about an old couple with a retard kid. He had the ability to look at a picture of anything and make it real. If he wanted a hamburger, all he had to do was look at a picture of a hamburger. Kittens and puppies, though, came out dead.

They had to keep the house completely devoid if magazines, pictures, ect, and not take him out much. The old lady died. The retard is sad and digs up a picture of here and brings her back. Dead. The dad knows there's no way anybody who will be able to take care of the retard after he dies, so he shows him a picture of the sun and convinces him of how awesome it is. The retard makes his wish and their house blows up. Game over.
